Successful Launch for NIFF 2014–15 Futsal Super Series at Valley Leisure Centre
The first round of the new NIFF 2014–15 Futsal Super Series has been successfully completed at Valley Leisure Centre, marking a positive and exciting start to this new developmental initiative.
Teams from Sparta Belfast Futsal Academy, Andersonstown Community Football Club, Larne Football Club Academy, and Greenisland Football Club competed in a round-robin format, ensuring plenty of game time and a strong learning environment for all players involved.
Designed as a developmental futsal block, the Super Series focuses on helping players grow into the futsal game, understand the rules, and enjoy the unique demands of the sport. The opening round featured plenty of goals, smiles, and enjoyment, alongside impressive ball mastery, close control, and technical skill that highlighted the benefits of futsal for young
player development.
Round One took place on 18 January 2026, successfully launching the series. The next rounds are scheduled for 22 February 2026 and 22 March 2026, forming the initial three- round Super Series block, with further dates currently in planning.
Round One has set a strong foundation for the programme, and there is growing enthusiasm among coaches, players, and families as the series continues throughout 2026.
NIFF would like to thank all participating clubs, coaches, players, and families for their support and look forward to building on this positive start as the Super Series progresses.
